Information to Shareholders

A special meeting of securityholders of European Goldfields will be held at the offices of Stikeman Elliott LLP, 5300 Commerce Court West, Toronto, Ontario M5L 1B9, Canada on 21 February 2012 at 11:00 (Toronto time) for the purpose of approving the proposed business combination with Eldorado Gold Corp (“Eldorado”) pursuant to which Eldorado will acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of European Goldfields via a plan of arrangement under the Yukon Business Corporations Act, as announced on 18 December  2011.
